Fun Stuff

Christine’s at her last yoga class of the year. So I decided to take some photographs of fun things we’ve got in our apartment, that are technological.

CD ChangerThis is our CD changer.  Yes, it belongs at a record store.  But when they closed the office of the record label Christine worked at, it was either take it home, or throw it out.  So, we took it home.  Though there’s no speaker connection on it, the headphones are actually loud enough to hear throughout the apartment. Pretty sweet.

Office Tivo

This is Tivo number one, in our Office.  It used to be our only Tivo, until we realized we had way more than one show at a time that we needed to watch. So, we bought Tivo number 2.

This Tivo’s name is PJ.

Living Room Tivo

This is Fred 2, the living room Tivo. It’s one of the newer Series 2DT boxes, which is why it looks a bit different and darker than PJ.

Fred’s fancy, he can record two shows at once, which is why we bought him. He helps us catch shows when there’s two on at the same time.  Like right now, Prison Break, is on Fox, while How I Met Your Mother and The Class are on CBS.

My PC Setup

This is my kick-ass dual 19″ Samsung LCD display set up, for my PC. It helps way more than I thought it would when I’m doing web design.  I keep one monitor solely for designing and coding, and the other for keeping all the browsers open, to test the designs in them.

Very handy.

Christine's computer

This is Christine’s new fancy Sony Vaio laptop that she bought herself a month or so ago. It replaced her old dying Dell, and she’s super happy with it.

It rocks, the screen’s a bit too small for me, since my eyesight sucks. But she seems to love it.

This is our really cool DVD set up, and hovering bookshelf that we bought at the Container StoreBooks not too long ago. The bookshelves don’t really hold that many books, as you can see from the picture. But man, they look super cool just hanging there on the wall, don’t they?

That’s all. Please don’t rob us.
