U2 and Green Day
What the hell is the world coming to?
Remember the days when Green Day was anti-everything? Back when they were punk rockers, who broke things on stage, and wrote songs about nothing? Man, those were the good days.
Now, their record label’s like “You’re gonna go record this sissy song for New Orleans, with U2″, and they’re like “Sir, yes Sir!”
Does New Orleans even give a damn about U2, Green Day or their stupid song? I highly doubt it. Yea, it’s for a good cause, to help the schools buy musical instruments for the kids, that were destoryed.
But, after the greedy record company gets their mitts on their share, how much money’s really going to be donated? I know a lot of U2 and Green Day fans that would support both bands, on their own. But, together? Come on. This is one of the worst songs I think I’ve ever heard.
Sadly, I was stuck in traffic this morning, and my morning show played it. It was so bad I had to listen. Pathetic, boring, un-catchy. Stay away from this track, to save your life.
